As the Baku-to-Belém Roadmap moves toward finalisation at COP30, momentum is growing behind the US$1.3 trillion goal for climate finance by 2035.

This session explores the critical role of resilience investment – not just to protect vulnerable communities, but to enable net-zero delivery globally. It will gather private finance and real economy leaders to share the case for private investment in resilience, how leaders are building resilience and what is needed to go further.

Building on existing work, including the Sharm El Sheikh Adaptation Agenda, the session will explore current barriers, breakthrough actions and a narrative that resonates with the private sector, with insights feeding into the resilience agenda at COP30.
