After a general introduction and welcome to the closing plenary by IIED executive director Dr Tom Mitchell, he will moderate the high-level plenary, bringing together leading voices from a range of actors at the heart of the climate resilience finance community.

This dynamic panel will invite leading voices to reflect on the key messages and ideas shared throughout the summit. Panellists will first respond to insights gathered from participants, discussing what resonates most with them and what they feel is missing from the conversation.

The discussion will then turn to the bigger picture: how can this diverse and growing ecosystem – spanning organisations, leaders and sectors – work together to supercharge finance for climate resilience at the scale and speed required?

With the UN’s International Conference on Financing for Development taking place next week, and critical implementation discussions on the horizon in Brazil, the panellists will share their unique perspectives and offer practical advice to everyone in the room and the wider resilience finance community on sustaining momentum and amplifying positive impact in the months ahead.
